What is phonics?
I'm glad you asked! Phonics is a learning tool that allows the speech of sounds and their acoustic qualities to connect. It helps the vocal tract to utilize the production of speech sounds while combining sounds in order to make words that isn't known or sound out the words with phonics without help from someone who already is familiar the word (s).
Phonics is used to help with pronunciation when coming across a word that is unfamiliar to us. In this case, when a child is just beginning to learn their letters, sounds and turning them into words. Phonics includes writing out the words according to how the letter sounds or how it's spoken. Studies have shown that phonics is the most effective method for beginning readers and should be the base of reading instruction.
